Rest, spiderwebs, burnout and laziness lies with Mel Watson

In this episode, Jacinta and Lachlan chat with Mel Watson. We chat about a whole whack of topics from how Mel thinks more in spiderwebs rather than lines, how rest is essential and if you don't think so, your body will make you rest. We also chat about Mel's experience with burnout and how she is trying to help other women from experiencing burnout themselves.

About our guest

Mel Watson has a very clear message: self care matters, and if you don't believe that, eventually your brain and body will prove it to you. Mel knows this first hand, and it led her to establishing two brands, What Mellie Did Next, and then The Zest Collective - a wellbeing membership that combines industry experts, online coaching, a vibrant and supportive community, and everything Australian women need to get their wellbeing sorted. Mel shares tips and strategies from her 15-year senior career in organisational people and culture, and her own experiences juggling work and life, coaching team members, and going through burnout yet coming out the other side. Mel is also a proud woman with disability who is passionate about diversity and inclusion.
